Inspiration and Success at the 2010 Charity Classic Fundraiser

Many Take Stock in Children students helped out at The Immokalee Foundation’s 2010 Charity Classic Dinner & Auction, helping TIF to raise $1.5 million. All the money raised goes back into the programs that our students benefit from. This year was the first year that a benefactor could purchase pre-paid scholarships through our new Fund A Dream™ initiative. Mentor Q & A

Q: Is it ok to buy my student a gift?

A: The rule of thumb is: a book, lunch once in a while, or educational material is ok. The students know that they are not to expect gifts.
