Support TIF through planned giving.

The Immokalee Foundation’s programs are made possible by the generosity and commitment of our supporters. Planned gifts to TIF ensure the future sustainability of our programs, creating brighter futures for the children our programs serve.

Planned gifts come in a variety of forms and can be structured to balance your charitable goals with your personal financial needs. Some gifts provide for immediate charitable deductions, while others provide for charitable deductions upon the settling of your estate. Help us build the pathways to success for the youth of Immokalee by partnering with TIF through a planned gift. Please call TIF and your financial advisor to discuss how a planned gift may benefit you, your family, and the children of Immokalee.

Bequests

You can support our programs by leaving a charitable gift to The Immokalee Foundation under your will or trust agreement.

Gifts of Retirement Benefits

Upon your demise, your retirement benefits can be left to a charitable remainder trust where they can provide an income stream to your loved one(s) and distribute the remainder to The Immokalee Foundation.

Or, if you wish to make an immediate gift upon your demise, your retirement benefits can be left directly to The Immokalee Foundation. This can provide a more significant donation and possibly a larger charitable deduction for your estate.

Charitable Trusts

For those looking to pass future appreciation to family members, a charitable lead trust may be the option to consider, particularly in a low-interest-rate environment. The Immokalee Foundation would be provided with an annuity or stream of income for a term of years, and at the expiration of that term, to the extent the annual investment return exceeds the federal interest rate used to value the charitable gift, the remaining assets would pass to your loved ones at no gift or estate tax cost.

Gifts of appreciated property to a charitable remainder trust can provide you with a continued income stream and a tax-advantaged means for diversifying a concentrated holding.  Upon your death or a designated term of years, the remainder would pass to The Immokalee Foundation.

Gifts of Life Insurance

If life insurance purchased by you is no longer needed by your family for support or for estate tax payment purposes, consider donating the policy to The Immokalee Foundation.
